Drink & Shop at Christmas Village in Love Park

If you haven’t made it to Love Park in the past week, you’re missing out on something attractive and fun. No, we’re not referring to the huge orange noodle statue, courtesy of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese (though free mac ‘n’ cheese wrapping paper doesn’t sound half bad). We mean the quaint Christmas Village, a series of vendors set up in wood-clad stands just like the traditional German holiday markets of old.

Happily, another classic awaits at the tree-adorned city park: mulled wine from Chaddsford Winery. Pick up a cup of steaming boozy goodness to sip on while you stroll through the stalls to pick up gifts, jewelry, toys, ornaments and other knick-knacks. Chaddsford also has wine available by the glass, which will go well with bratwursts from Brauhaus Schmidt’s, and also bottles to scoop up to show off to your family how good local PA wine can be.

The shops are open Sunday–Thursday 11 AM–7 PM and Friday–Saturday 11 AM–8 PM.
