Noche Launches Mexican Menu and Renovated Interior
Noche from Four Corners Management (of Morgan's Pier and Union Transfer renown) has been a Rittenhouse favorite since 2004. Located on the corner of 19th and Chestnut, its large windows and comfortable interior make for a versatile and space, which hosts events ranging from weekly comedy nights to weekend DJ sessions. If you haven’t stopped in lately, know that this October, a completely new menu was launched and renovations were completed, bringing a whole new vibe to the bar.
Authentic Mexican cuisine is now offered, including several huaraches (topping-loaded corn masa flatbreads) and other small plates like queso fundido and tostadas, and everything runs $11 or less. The eats can be paired with a totally new drink selection. Choose from 14 different tequilas to use in six specialty cocktails (that’s 84 drink combinations to tackle, ranging from $7–$15), eight rotating taps — featuring classics such as Allagash White, Troegs Perpetual IPA and Sixpoint Bengali Tiger — and a Mexican-themed bottle beer list.
In addition to upgrades to food and drink, there’s a striking new interior that maintains a warm and rustic appeal through an quiet evening of dining or upbeat dancing. There are several happy hour options. Each day Tuesday–Friday from 5–7 PM there’s a different brewery on special in pints and pitchers, plus $2 Tecate from 10–midnight and $5 Sauza Blue shots from 5 PM–midnight. The $5 Sauza shots are also available 5–11 PM Saturdays. If you’re in Rittenhouse, head over for some Mexican flair, food and fun.
