Terrapin Wake and Bake

This beer doesn't get its name from a Cheech and Chong routine, but instead refers to its coffee and oatmeal components. Making a run at Founders' crown for most appreciated coffee stout, Terrapin Beer Company is an up and coming Atlanta brewery specializing in their Monster Beer Tour seasonals and interesting perennials. Bitter, chewy, and intense, Wake and Bake is another excellent archetype for the style. Crack the bottle, and it immediately delivers that Sunday morning roast aroma. At 8.6% abv, this stout has steel in its spine.
