Charbay, a distillery and winery in Napa Valley, has begun producing several hopped whiskies, including two versions of an R5 Whiskey, distilled from Bear Republic Brewing’s Racer 5 IPA, as well as an experimental small batch hopped whiskey that is being released in different aged groups over the next decade. The next batch of 360 bottles is set to be released in November 2013.
