Corsair Artisan Distillery, with locations in Tennessee and Kentucky, has launched a micro batch whiskey called Rasputin Hopped Whiskey. Corsair starts with a traditional Imperial stout beer, and the whiskey is distilled, the whiskey vapors are passed through through hops, which adds spicy floral notes to the malt and chocolate flavors of the stout.  The spirit is then aged in charred oak barrels, which give the a classic vanilla and caramel notes. In the end you get a very rich and complex hopped whiskey.
