Jack Rose
The Jack Rose, admittedly, is not a “new” cocktail, but rather a lesser-known brother of the more famous Sidecar. It’s equally as tasty but with a bit more of a kick.
1.5 oz. Applejack
1 oz. fresh lemon or lime juice
.5 oz. grenadine (homemade preferably)
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a martini glass or coupe and garnish with a lemon or lime wheel.
