Save the date for Thursday, July 11, because Cavanaugh’s Headhouse is hosting the next edition of Brew & Chew, and this one features the craft creations of Troegs Brewery. Head to the pub just off South Street for a two-hour open bar with four different beers and four different appetizers.

Here’s how it works: every 30 minutes from 8–10 PM, a different Troegs beer will be available on an open bar basis. At the quarter hour mark, servers will present an hors d’oeuvre or small plate designed specifically to pair with that beer.

To drink, look for Troegs favorites Sunshine Pils, Dreamweaver Wheat, Perpetual IPA and Java Head Stout. As an extra bonus, you can also score $3 pints of Troegs Scratch #97 Black Rye IPA during the event.

If you RSVP in advance here, the entire evening (beer and food) is just $20 per person. You can still get in at the door for $25 if you didn’t get a chance to sign up in advance, but you might as well go for it - it’s a summer beer deal that’s too good to miss.
