Sto's Bar Grand Opening Party in Old City, June 28
Old City is getting a boost this month in its ongoing transformation from a tourist stop into a craft beer destination. Sto’s Bar is now soft open at 236 Market Street, the former home of Lulu’s Pizza Bar, and on June 28 you can help welcome the newcomer to the neighborhood at a grand opening bash.
From 8–10:30 PM this Friday, an RSVP via email and $15 at the door will score you an open bar with free food bites, including the already-famous wings (they’re available in half a dozen styles). On draft the bar regularly offers at least six different local crafts — recently Victory, Troegs, Boxcar, Prism, PBC and Yards filled the taps. All night on Friday you’ll also be able to order $3 Lionshead bottles and $5 fireballs.
If you can’t make it on Friday, definitely stop in for the daily featured 16-oz. pour of a craft draft for $3.50. The regular food menu has plenty of creative bar snacks, like corn dog bites, char-grilled chicken tenders and scrapple sticks. There are also burgers and sandwiches to choose from while you relax next to exposed brick walls. Good times are rolling through Old City, the craft beer way.
