Time flies when you’re drinking great craft beer. It’s been a year since Bainbridge Street Barrel House spun open its revolving door, welcoming guests to a bar with 25 rotating taps and a solid menu of pub food to go along. Two days of celebrations are planned, and you’re going to want to hit up at least one, if not both.

On Tuesday, November 5, a lineup of more than 19 very special beers is headlined by three extra-ridiculous gets, and there’s only enough for 80 pours of each one. If you’re really interested in getting a taste of Voodoo Pappy Van Winkle Big Black Voodoo Daddy, Perennial Abraxas Imperial Stout or DuClaw Pumpkin Retribution Barrel Aged Stout, arrive early in the evening, because you’ll need a ticket in order to buy your glass.

On day two of the party (Wednesday, November 6), there’s a whole new roster of beers on tap, and the two ticketed beers are Cigar City Brandy Barrel Aged Hunahpu Stout and Dark Horse Bourbon Barrel Aged Plead the Fifth (only 55 tickets are available for that one). On Wednesday night at 10 PM, the bar will also be giving away free taster glasses of 50-50 Eclipse Buffalo Trace beer.

All in all, both evenings are going to be full of beer-soaked fun, so make plans to head to Sixth and Bainbridge for a birthday bash to remember.
