Flying Fish Brings Back Exit One Oyster Stout
Here’s some news related New Jersey and its highways that’s completely free of Governor Chris Christie, Fort Lee traffic and the ensuing drama that is the Bridgegate scandal: Flying Fish Brewing Co. is bringing back its Exit 1 Bayshore Oyster Stout.
As you will recall, the export style stout, which is brewed with real oysters, celebrates the New Jersey Turnpike’s first exit at Carney’s Point, and was originally rolled out in 2009 as a large format limited release as part of the brewery’s ongoing Exit Series. But with this batch's release, the dark-as-night, creamy and dry stout will be available as a regular late winter seasonal in 12 oz. bottles for the first time. Keep an eye out for it at beer stores, and on local draft lists too.
