Water Works Restaurant and Lounge, one of the city’s most scenic and iconic settings, is hosting Pottstown’s Sly Fox Brewery for a special four-course tasting dinner on Thurs., Jan. 30, beginning at 6:30 PM.

The $50 per person, prix fixe dinner will pair Sly Fox’s award-winning brews with dishes that Water Works kitchen staff have created to perfectly compliment them. The evening kicks off with an informal reception where Sly Fox Helles Golden Lager will be served with a assorted cheeses.

The dinner menu includes:

The Appetizer:
Black Pepper Crusted Diver Scallop, with celery root chive puree and lemon bur blanc. Paired with Sly Fox Saison Vos, a Belgian style Farmhouse ale.

Fish Course:
Grilled Swordfish Loin, with toasted barley sage risotto, caramelized Brussels sprouts and mint pesto. Paired with Sly Fox Valor, a dry hopped Trappist style pale ale.

Meat Course:
Braised Pork Belly, with stone ground goat cheese grits, braised broccoli rabe and Cabernet-honey reduction. Paired with Sly Fox Dunkel Lager, a traditional Bavarian style dark lager.

Dessert:
Dark Cherry Chocolate Tort served with coffee en glaze. Paired with Ichor, an Abbey-style Quadruple with German Pils, roast malts and dark sugar.
