Philly Wine Week Debuts Inaugural Line Up of Participants
Oenophiles rejoice! Philly Wine Week has released its inaugural line up, and it is sure to please everyone from the wine newbie to the well-rounded wine veteran.
Wine Week was founded with the mission of promoting wine knowledge, the enjoyment of it, and fostering a sense of community among the many great people and places throughout the city that are passionate about wine. Kate Moroney and William Eccleston, wine directors at Vintage Wine Bar & Bistro and Ristorante Panorama and Wine Bar respectively, hatched the plan for the eight-day celebration, and they are eager to get the festivities underway.
It all kicks off on Sun., March 23 with a with the opening event, Bubbles & Barrels, at Ristorante Panorama & Wine Bar featuring special guests Master Sommeliers Laura Williamson, Wayne Belding, and Kathy Morgan. From there it will continue with daily wine-centric events at different venues across the city through Sun., March 30.
