Ready, set, goat! The Sly Fox Bock Fest & Goat Race is around the corner. Held on the first Sunday of May every year, the goat races have become a staple in the Philadelphia beer community. This year’s fest falls on Sunday, May 4, better known to some as Star Wars Day. So hop on your Tauntaun and head to Phoenixville.

The fest is held at the Sly Fox Brewhouse & Eatery from 11 AM to 6 PM, with the goat races starting at 2 PM. A slew of German menu items will be on hand to complement a multitude of bock-style beers. The lineup this year includes Slacker Bock, Helles Bock, Instigator Doppelbock, and a Maibock that will be tapped after the races and named in honor of the winner. So come out to cheer on your favorite ruminant while sipping some delicious beers. We’ll see ya at the races!
