MacGyver Night at Science After Hours with Explosions and Drinks, Feb 11
Science After Hours, a fun, boozy way to explore The Franklin Institute, is back. Skip the bar scene and go with an evening with a little more adventure. This event series is designed specifically for adults featuring experiments, demonstrations, conversations, cocktails, and of course, science!
The latest evening of science-y fun is entitled MacGyver Night and takes places Tuesday, February 11. From 6:30-9:30 PM you’ll live the life of TV’s favorite special agent, Angus MacGyver. Defusing bombs, creating diversions, and making a clean getaway are all on the bill. Well, maybe not that extreme, but there will be plenty of action-packed experiments, performances, challenges, and more. There will also be a cash bar, incase you want to experiment with cocktails.
Tickets are only $15 or $10 if you’re a TFI member. If you’re over 21, click here to grab tickets online, or call 215-448-1200.
Special activities for the evening include:
Live BOOM! Show: All things explosive with an action packed floor show.
LED Throwies: MacGyver meets street art with this make and take activity
Superconductor Cart: Watch as a disk levitates above a magnetic track with the help of ultra cold liquid nitrogen
Egg Drop Parachute: Challenge your friends and see who can prevent the egg from breaking.
Win awesome prizes, partake in crazy experiments, and learn a thing or two!
