From the same folks who brought Philadelphia its first ever Bacon and Beer Festival comes Whiskey Rebellion, a showcase for American brown spirits.

That sudsy celebration of what's arguably the best part of the pig was completely sold out in matter of minutes. The good news here is, tickets to this big whiskey blow-out, which is going down Sunday, April 13 from 2:30 - 5 PM at South Street’s Theatre of the Living Arts, are still available.

The Rebellion will have whiskies from dozens of American producers for fest-goers to sample. The $40 ticket covers said whiskies, plus cocktail demos and complimentary food from Serrano. Serrano’s new chef Matthew Daggett will be serving up some of the Old City restaurant’s signature menu items, like meatloaf sandwiches and flatbreads in both meat and meatless styles. Twisted Tail’s whiskey whisper George Reilly is on board to lead one of the cocktail demos. In the video below, you can check out his whiskey wielding skills.
