Ardmore's Tired Hands Brewing Company Announces Expansion Plans
Big beer news brewing in the ‘burbs has Ardmore’s Tired Hands Brewing Company expanding with a larger production facility and new brew-cafe. The company made the announcement yesterday via social media.
Though no timeline has been discussed, Tired Hands founder Jean Broillet has plans to build out a production facility capable of producing upwards of 10,000 barrels of “Strange and Beautiful” beer per year in a building located on Cricket Terrace next door to Schauffele Plaza in Ardmore. The original Tired Hands location will remain, and the new facility will be home to the beer-maker’s second brew cafe.
In a Facebook update, Broillet wrote that both locations will offer “wildly different draft offerings.” In addition to the larger output potential and the new cafe, the new location will also have space to accommodate hundreds of oak barrels for aging beers.
