New Zealand's Decibel Wine Comes to Philly with a Pairing Dinner at Garces Trading Company, March 26
Philly’s first Wine Week is underway and is bringing with it some unique events. One such event is the Decibel Wine dinner on Wednesday, March 26, at Garces Trading Company.
Decibel Wines from New Zealand is owned and operated by Philly-native Daniel Brennan. He’s no stranger to the craft of food or wine with two generations of amateur Sicilian winemakers in his blood. His family also opened McCrossen’s Tavern in the early 90s. Before starting his own line, Brennan worked in vineyards from Italy to California to his current New Zealand.
On Wednesday, Brennan’s Decibel Wine will be paired with a four-course meal created by Chef Nathan Johnson. The dinner will also feature a simulcast via Skype with the winemakers in New Zealand. You’ll be able to check out amazing views of the winery and chat with the winemakers about their current harvesting season. It all kicks off at 6 PM. Seats are $65 per person, and reservations can be made by calling 215-574-1099.
