Win Win Cooperative Coffee Shop and Bar Coming to 9th and Spring Garden This Summer
A new dual-purpose cafe — that’s a coffee shop by day and booze-slinging bar by night — called Win Win that’s setting up shop near 9th and Spring Garden streets in the weeks ahead will add yet another option to the Eraserhood’s growing number of eating and drinking destinations.
As an all day and all night venture, it’s truly in a class of its own. But further separating it from the pack, Win Win is a cooperative owned business. According to Food Junkets, that means there are no bosses and no worker bees. The cafe and bar is jointly owned by eight worker-owners who each have a say in operations, and equally share in its profits.
Details are still kind of sketchy, but preliminary details include coffee, bread, pastries and such being served during daytime hours, and cocktails, beer and other fun, adult drinks flowing in the evening. There’s going to be food too, which the Insider says will consist of one-plate options and bar snacks.
We’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available.
