Philly Tech Week just got a whole lot funnier. Geekadelphia and Laughs on Fairmount are teaming up to bring you, The Geek Shall Inherit the Earth: A Comedy Throwdown, on Thursday, April 10.

This comedy throwdown will mainly revolve around pitting contestants against each other in improv challenges, but physical challenges, trivia, and maybe a surprise sketch or two are all in store. Two lucky members of the audience will also be invited to play along. Contestants are Molly Pace, Dave Terruso, Darryl Charles, Oliver Yu, Jo Pincushion, and Frank Farrell.

Doors open at 8 PM, and Doogie Horner kicks things off with some laughs around 9 PM. The throwdown will be hosted by Paul Triggiani, but the contestants’ fates will be decided by a panel of judges. Judges include Anna Goldfarb, Skeletor, and our very own Adam Schmidt. Tickets are only $5 at the door, so head to Urban Saloon on April 10 for the funniest Thursday you’ve had in a long time.
