Kick the Keg for a Cause at Old Eagle Tavern, Sun., May 18
On Sunday, May 18, the good folks at Manayunk’s Old Eagle Tavern will host Kicking the Keg For a Cause, a fundraiser for The Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
Brian Lipstein, Founder and President of Henry A. Davidsen: Master Tailors & Image Consultants, is in the running to be named the organization’s Man & Woman of the Year. Over the course of the next 10 weeks, nominees for the prestigious title will battle it out through various fundraising efforts. Whoever raises the most cash wins.
Rather than soliciting donations through traditional means, Lipstein is enlisting the help of friends to drink beer and have good time while working towards the goal. Through the generosity of Old Eagle Tavern, Barren Hill Tavern & Brewery and Great Lakes Brewing Company kegs have been secured. All you have to do to help out the cause is show and blow the suds off a couple pints. One hundred percent of proceeds from each beer sold will be donated The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
