Last Call For the Great Sandwiches Event, Wed., May 28
Today is your last chance to score tickets for Citypaper’s Great Sandwiches Event at Union Transfer.
The throwdown, which goes from 6 - 9 PM tonight, will pit local chefs against each other in a Chopped-like challenge. The chef that builds the best sandwich with the given ingredients wins. Competitors include South Philadelphia Tap Room and American Sardine Bar’s Scott Schroeder, Amis’ Brad Spence, and Fork and High Street on Market’s Eli Kulp.
Meanwhile, chefs from more than 20 other restaurants will be serving up their own sandwiches, and guests can sample each one. Plus, there’s going to be tons of free beer and booze included in the $35 admission. Get tickets here.
