Sneak Peek of Spruce Street Harbor Park, Opening Friday June 27 (PHOTOS)
Starting Friday, June 27, the Delaware waterfront will be taken to the next level when the Spruce Street Harbor Park opens to the public.
The pop-up park will run from Friday, June 27, through Sunday, August 31, making summer on the Delaware that much cooler. Along with being able to enjoy the great outdoors, visitors to the park will be able to enjoy food by the Garces Group, an abundance of local beer, and refreshing cocktails curated by the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation.
The park will feature floating barges with a restaurant, bar, nets that suspend visitors over the water, a 60-person hammock lounge, an urban beach and boardwalk, a mist area, a weekly bocce league and more. It will even have its own consession stands with boardwalk food and video games. Talk about a summer paradise!
