The American Swedish Historical Museum’s SmörgåsBeer'd is back for a fourth year with three hours of sipping and sampling. Local brews will be flowing and Swedish snacks will abound. These aren’t your average Ikea meatballs we’re talking about either (no offense Ikea). The fest takes place Saturday, September 6, at the American Swedish Historical Museum.

The museum looks out on FDR Park from 1900 Pattison Avenue in South Philly. Tickets to the event are just $25 in advance for three full hours of tasting, sipping, talking with brewers and touring the museum’s Swedish beer artifacts. From 5–8 PM, sample pours of Yards, Brooklyn Brewery, Conshohocken Brewing, Vault, some Scandinavian beers and more as you explore the cuisine of Sweden.

If tickets are still available, you can get in at the door for $30, but we recommend reserving in advance, either online here or by calling 215-389-1776. Skål!
