The good folks at Nodding Head Brewery and American Sardine Bar know that ensure the healthy growth of a grassroots movement, you have to properly water the roots.

That’s why they’re teaming up on Tuesday, August 19 to tap a barrel of Nodding Head’s special one-off, Shale Ale. The late summer seasonal was specially brewed to help raise money for statewide, citizen-based environmental advocacy organization, PennEnvironment’s ongoing efforts to fight fracking and protect Pennsylvania’s waters.

All proceeds from the event will go to PennEnvironment. Tickets to the one-night-only tapping cost $25 per person, and include free food. Get them here.
