Philly Episode of Comedy Central's 'Drunk History' Premieres Tues., Aug. 19
Hey, remember when we told you that Comedy Central’s smashed hit Drunk History rolled cameras at Philly’s oldest bar, McGillin’s?
Well, that episode is finally scheduled to air on Tuesday, August 19. And from what we’ve learned about it so far, it’s a real doozy. Winona Ryder, David Cross, Chris Parnell and Stephen Merchant pop up in segments about Benedict Arnold betraying George Washington and his troops, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson campaigning against each other for president and Baron von Steuben helping train the Continental Army. Tune in at 10 PM to see it. Or set your DVR.
In honor of the episode’s airing, McGillin’s will be celebrating with $4 Ales of the Revolution from Yards and showing the episode on all of its screens.
