Independence Beer Garden Does 'Pinchers, Suds & Gridiron' for Monday Night Football
Rejoice, sports fans! Football season is finally upon us. And Independence Beer Garden isn’t wasting any time rolling out specials for Monday Night Football.
Beginning September 8, and then every Monday after throughout football season (or until it gets too cold and inclement for the mostly open-air IBG to operate), owner Michael Schulson and Executive Chef Travis Masar will offer Pinchers, Suds & Gridiron, a weekly crabs and craft beer deal to coincide with Monday Night Football, which will be shown on the beer garden’s gigantic digital projection screen.
Fourteen bucks gets you a pound of blue claws seasoned with roasted garlic and beer, plus corn and slaw. A selection of craft beers will be available for $4 each to wash it all down.
Go early if you want in on the crabs. They could very well run out before the evening’s over. But the beer and football go all night.
