Thanksgiving may be upon us, but we’re just getting ready to kick off the holiday season. New Jersey’s wineries are with us, and are starting their celebrating as soon as the turkey is off the table with a Holiday Wine Trail.

Wineries and vineyards up and down the coast will be opening their doors to the public, giving guests the chance to sample and sip New Jersey’s award-winning reds and whites. There will also be food pairings, and special events that vary from each winery. You can stop by critically acclaimed wineries like:

Renault Winery
Heritage Vineyards
Tomasello Winery
Natali Vineyards
Valenzano Winery

This year is even better than ever, as a handful of wineries are offering visitors the chance to create their own holiday wreath. Almost 30 wineries will provide empty wreaths made from grape vines, then guests have the opportunity to stop at each winery and collect a new ornament to stick on the wreath. And best of all? Now you have an excuse to put off that holiday shopping for one more weekend.
