When the winter chill sets in, don’t hide away under blankets and sweaters. Get out and enjoy all the city has to offer. Starting Friday, November 28, Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest will open to the public.

The folks that brought you the summer pop-up, Spruce Street Harbor Park, are back at it again, transforming Penns Landing into a winter wonderland featuring daily entertainment, a holiday light show, ice skating, a retail market, and more. The park runs from Friday, November 28, through Sunday, March 1, so there will be plenty of time to cozy up to with some delicious eats and treats by the Garces Group, a pint of local craft beers, with a hot, spiked drink or with red or white wines.

Current beverage offerings include:

Beers
: Heavy Seas Winter Storm, Sly Fox Christmas Ale & Pikeland Pils, Weyerbacher Winter Ale, Dock St Man Full of Trouble, Shiner Holiday Cheer, Yards IPA, Pale Ale & Brawler

Hot Drinks: Hot Coffee with Bailey's or Jameson, Spiked Hot Chocolate with either vanilla, whipped cream or marshmallow vodka, Spiked Cider with Maple Bourbon or Cinnamon Whiskey

In addition to the Blue Cross RiverRink, this year the waterfront will host an Art Star pop-up market in addition to The Lodge which will host concessions, games, TVs and more, complete with fire pits and heat lamps to keep things toasty even during the coldest nights.

Stay tuned for more information about specific offerings at the Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest, including info about Philly Beer Week tap takeovers happening throughout the season at The Lodge.
