All week long, enjoy a 25% discount ($6 a glass) on three organic, biodynamic and sustainably grown wines that are perfect for the spring. Try pairing with Revolution House’s pizzas and, for an added bonus, enjoy your sips and bites on the roof deck that is open all year round. The wines include “in Gris de Cigare”, a Provencale-Style Dry Rose, Bonny Doon, 2013 from Central Coast, CA, “Purato”, a Pinot Grigio/Catarratto Blend, Santa Tresa Purato, 2012 from Sicilia, Italy and “Temptation”, a Zinfandel, Alexander Valley Vineyards, 2011 from Healdsburg, CA.
Perfect Parinings: Wine and Pizza!

Join Revolution House in a casual “How To” evening of wine and pizza pairings. Bob Trimble, Local Philly "Wine Guy" and Bonny Doon National Sales Director will pour wine samples for a fun and informative tasting of the lively, balanced and lesser-known grape varieties from Randall Grahmand Bonny Doon Vineyard. He will discuss food and wine pairings with an emphasis on how to do it and what to look for, while you taste wine and sample bites of some classic and creative wood-fired pizzas. Spring Wines for the Roof Deck with Michele Alwine

Whether the forecast cooperates or not, it is time to kick start the spring season. Start your spring cleaning with your wine rack! Michele Alwine of The Wine Merchant will be pouring a tasting of her picks for vibrant and delicious wines for al fresco sipping and tasty outdoor enjoyment. She will sample a variety of wines from crisp whites, to seasonally smashing rosé and bright red wines that are full of attention-grabbing flavor without overpowering.
