Join the Young Friends of Independence Seaport Museum for a Front Row Seat of Tall Ships Festival, June 26

Spend an exciting night under the stars on the Delaware River waterfront. In the midst of the Tall Ships Festival, the Young Friends of Independence Seaport Museum are hosting a celebration that is sure to be a can’t-miss event.

The Starlight and Luminaries party, hosted high above the water on the fourth floor of Independence Seaport Museum, will not only offer spectacular views of the majestic Tall Ships and giant duck that will be anchored on the river, but the party will also feature delicious food and drinks alongside plenty of fun and dancing.

Since the Tall Ships Festival is only open to the public until 5 PM on Friday, June 26, Starlight and Luminaries guests will enjoy private views of some of the world’s most renown seafaring vessels. An open bar will be paired with light fare from 12th Street Catering, Aramark and Brulee Catering for guests to enjoy, and beverage sponsors for the evening include Tito’s Vodka, Tullamore Dew, Sailor Jerry and more to be announced.

Guests will also receive a raffle ticket with their admission. Prizes include gift certificates from City Tavern and La Calaca Feliz, a signed puck and a stick from the Flyers and more. Entertainment for the evening will be provided by Scratch Weddings.

Tickets are available now for $45 for general admission and $55 for VIP admission. General admission includes complimentary drinks, light fare and a raffle ticket. VIP admission includes everything from GA in addition to two tickets to the Tall Ships Festival and a Young Friends membership.

What does a Young Friends membership include? It includes unlimited, free access to the museum, cruiser Olympia and submarine Becuna, discounted admission to sails on the Delaware River, invitations to Young Friends-only programs, exhibit previews and behind-the-scenes tours at the museum, discounts on all boat-building classes and other Workshop on the Water courses, 10% discount at the museum shop and more!

This event is open to anyone 21 or older, not just Young Friends. So come out for a beautiful evening of great views and great friends on the Delaware River waterfront.
