Old City’s Red Owl Tavern is celebrating its third anniversary with new specials popping up everyday. Head over to the corner of 5th and Chestnut to indulge in a little celebration yourself. The festivities start today, Monday, October 5, and new specials will be featured daily through Sunday, October 11.

Monday’s special is free appetizers, Tuesday features free desserts, Wednesday sees $3 Red Owl red or white wines, Thursday means $3 crab and corn fritters, Friday’s celebration includes $3 craft beers, Saturday features $3 sparkling wines, and Sunday rounds out the week with 30% off your total check. You can be sure we’ll be over every night to enjoy a different special.

If those daily deals don’t seem to do it for you, Red Owl will also be serving up a special $33.33 three-course dinner all week. For your first course, select from the Caesar Salad, the Red Owl Mixed Green Salad, or Fried Calamari with remoulade. Entree options include Creekstone Farm Terre Major Steak with black garlic puree, roasted local mushrooms, and pee wee potatoes, the Braised Hartley Ranch Short Rib with truffled polenta, pickled vegetables, and natural jus, or the Lemon Rosemary Chicken with creamy grits, polenta, and pickled vegetables. For dessert, guests may choose from any of Red Owl Tavern’s offerings including a seasonal House-Made Apple Pie topped with Franklin Fountain ice cream.
