Panorama's Wine Wednesdays Boast Unique Red and White Pairings
If you could use a little hump day help, Panorama is offering the perfect solution with Wine Wednesdays. Each week, an unusual red and white wine is featured at the Old City wine bar, and the parking is free.
Panorama will break out a pair of unique wines every week for your tasting pleasure. Both wines will be available in 3 and 5 oz. pours and by the bottle so you can sip, or gulp, your way through the night. Additionally, metered parking is free after 5 PM every Wednesday.
Wines on Wednesday, January 13, will be from unusual, small-production wineries in France and Italy. Sample the Gros Manseng 100% “Jurançon Sec” Domaine Bru-Baché 2013
or the Fumin 100% “Vallée d’Aoste~Ésprit Follet” La Crotta di Vegneron 2009.
Wednesday, January 20, will feature two wines that are “simply just too good not to spotlight right about now.” Try the Verdicchio di Matelica “Marche” Fontezoppa 2014
or the Merlot 60%/Cabernet Sauvignon 40% “Médoc” Château Aimée 2010.
To round off the month, a pair of elegant classics from Burgundy, France will be showcased on Wednesday, January 27. Sip the Chardonnay 100% “Chablis” Marcel Servin 2012 or the Pinot Noir 100% “Marsannay” Domaine Chanson 2012.
If you can’t make it on Wednesdays, Panorama also has a Wine of the Month that is available all January long. This month’s selection is a “Natural Wine” from the Loire Valley. The Cabernet Franc “Anjou Rouge~Le Rubis~147 cases produced~Certified Biodynamic” Domaine de Juchepie 2012 is available in 3 and 5 oz pours and by the bottle.
Panorama is open from 12–10 PM, Monday through Thursday, 12–11 PM on Friday and Saturday, and 5–9 PM on Sunday. Panorama offers an impressive Italian menu to pair with whichever wine you happen to select.
