The Brewer's Plate Returns to The Kimmel Center With More Amazing Local Food and Drink Pairings, March 13

The 12th Annual Brewer’s Plate is quickly approaching. On Sunday, March 13, Philadelphia’s fantastic chefs, farmers, and food artisans will team up with Philly based brewers, distillers, and winemakers at The Kimmel Center for the annual bash.

This is the ultimate Philly foodie event that attracts everyone from food critics to food bloggers to Philadelphians who simply love the local food and drink scene. Participating food vendors include Alla Spina, Bar Ferdinand, El Camino Real, Fair Food Farmstand, Iron Hill Brewery, High Street on Market, London Grill, Varga Bar, and Whetstone Tavern. Drink vendors include Dock Street Brewing, Dogfish Head Brewery, Forest & Main BrewingManatawny Still Works, Sly Fox Brewing, Victory Brewing, and Yards Brewing. Ticket pricing will work much like it has in the past with increasing pricing levels as the event draws near. Currently available is the Early Bird Pricing for both General Admission and VIP tickets. GA tickets grant guests access to all three levels of the Kimmel Center and are $64 while supplies last. GA tickets will increase to $74 when the Early Bird tickets sell out. VIP tickets are $99 and grant ticket holders entrance at 5:30 PM along with a special keepsake glass to fill with limited VIP-only beers. 

The Brewer’s Plate introduces a new ticket option for beer enthusiasts - VIP Plus - an exclusive pre-festival beer-driven culinary extravaganza. Victory Brewing Company’s founder, Bill Covaleski, and visiting guest brewer, Zach Bodah of Allagash Brewing Company of Portland, Maine will collaborate with chefs from the Garces Group to create gastronomic fireworks. To celebrate the perfect union of beer and food, guests will be dazzled by the food-pairing skills of these two brewers who will partner with the chefs of Village Whiskey, the Olde Bar, and Garces Events in the spectacular Hamilton Garden, perched atop the Perelman Theater at the Kimmel Center. The respective brewers will be judged on three categories of pairings - seafood, meat, and sweets - to the delight of the VIP Plus ticket holders who will vote for their favorite. Only 150 tickets will be available at $125!
