Celebrate Valentine's Day at The Rittenhouse Three Different Ways

Love is in the air and on the menus. With Valentine’s Day less than two weeks away, it’s time to start making plans and reservations with your special someone. Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday this year, so you true romantics can celebrate your love all weekend long.

The Rittenhouse not only allows you to celebrate all weekend long, but you can also celebrate in three different ways. The first way you can celebrate is with the Fire & Spice cocktail at the Library Bar or Bar 210 in Lacroix. Fire & Spice (pictured above) is available from Friday, February 12, through Sunday, February 14. Overholt Rye, Aperol, Serrano nectar, and chocolate bitters mix in this holiday cocktail with a flamed orange peel pulling it all together.

Lacroix will also be offering special Chef’s Tasting menus for lunch and dinner on Saturday, February 13, and for dinner on Sunday, February 14. An optional wine pairing can be added to either menu for $115. The menus feature items like Scallops with braised lettuce and trout roe, Beef Shortrib with maitake and turnip, Spanish Tuna with Buddha Hand, carrot, and chili, and dessert. There will also be a vegetarian menu available. Make your reservations for the four-course lunch or five-course dinner by calling 215-790-2533.

The final way to celebrate Valentine’s Day is with a Traditional Brunch Buffet from 11 AM to 2:30 PM on Sunday, February 14. The buffet includes dishes like Crispy Duck Confit, Scottish Salmon, Berkshire Porchetta, sushi, caviar, foie gras, salads, spreads, and much more. Finish the meal off with treats dipped in the chocolate fountain. Additionally, all brunch guests will leave with a selection of house-made petit-fours. The buffet is $105 per person and reservations are needed.

The Rittenhouse is located at 210 West Rittenhouse Square.
