The Pour House Debuts New House Beer Collaboration With Victory Brewing Company
The Pour House, with locations in Westmont, NJ and Exton and North Wales, PA has a new house beer, created exclusively for the craft beer bar chain by Victory Brewing Company.
Hoppy White Ale (5.99% ABV), a citrusy, fruity beer is now available at all three The Pour House locations. Victory used Citra hops and fruity yeast esters to create this beer that has orange and earthy hop flavors. It’s full-bodied, yet refreshing, and pairs well with food.
The beer was created with the restaurant’s menu in mind, and we had the opportunity to taste Hoppy White Ale paired with several dishes at the Westmont location. The beer paired particularly well with The Golden Beet & Chicken Salad with roasted beets, honey goat cheese, radish, and chicken over mixed greens with a honey red wine vinaigrette; The Second Coming Burger with chopped tomatoes, roasted garlic aioli, and gruyère cheese; and the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich served with Sriracha mayo on a potato bun.
The Pour House is a member of the P.J.W. restaurant group, and the group has worked with Victory before on P.J. Whelihan’s signature Copper Lager.
“We were thrilled to work with our friends at Victory again. They understand better than anyone our commitment to serving great beer. We are proud of the reputation The Pour House has earned as beer-lovers’ craft beer bar and we hope our loyal fans love Hoppy White Ale as much as we loved making it,” said Jim Fris, Chief Operating Officer of P.J.W. Restaurant Group.
It’s easy to spot the Hoppy White Ale on tap at the Pour House. Hand-carved wooden tap handles were crafted especially for this beer. Additionally, Hoppy White tulip beer glasses were created to complete the house-beer experience.
