Franklin Square's Chinese Lantern Festival Will Feature a Beer Garden
The Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival, which will take place at Franklin Square from April 22 to June 12, will feature its very own Dragon Beer Garden.
The beer garden will feature non-alcoholic drinks and themed snacks every day of the week, but every Thursday through Saturday, they will also serve wine, cocktails, and beer. All food and beverages will be supplied by Cooperage, who recently took over operation of Franklin Square’s Squareburger as well. The garden will also be open until 10 PM every night except for Fridays and Saturdays, when it will close at 11. While you enjoy your libations, you can look out at the 200-foot dragon that will be on display.
Philly now has plenty of seasonal beer gardens, but be sure to make it to this one before the official start of summer — after all, where else in Philadelphia can you drink next to a dragon?
