Many folks get Cinco de Mayo confused with Mexican Independence Day, which is actually celebrated in September. Cinco de Mayo, rather, commemorates Mexico’s underdog style victory over France in the Battle of Puebla, which occurred on May 5, 1862.

Bainbridge Street Barrel House will be offering their usual $5 margs, but will also host some fun events for the Craft Brewers Conference. From 4 - 6 PM, they’ll have a happy hour featuring Lakefront Brewery — who will be sending some special brews, including Black Friday.
