Follow the Hammer of Glory Relay Around Philly, June 3

Follow the Hammer of Glory Relay Around Philly, June 3

As is tradition, the annual Hammer of Glory Relay will kick off Philly Beer Week, with this year’s Opening Tap party following immediately afterwards, on Friday, June 3. The relay will begin promptly at 6 AM and end at 7 PM, when Opening Tap begins.

The Hammer of Glory will travel for 13 hours this year and will rack up 42.8 miles of relaying by the day’s end, with participants concocting increasingly fun and over-the-top ways to transport the well-loved mascot of Philly Beer Week — but to keep their tactics unique, those methods of transportation will be kept secret until Friday rolls around.

Check out the full schedule below, and if you’re an early riser, a Philly Beer Week devotee, or both, you can follow the Hammer all the way across Philly.
