From July through October, Evil Genius is partnering with Home Brewed Events to bring a limited-run beer garden to Fishtown at 1727-31 Front St. before their new brewery opens in the neighborhood.

The beer garden will be open for five weekends in total (July 8-10, July 22-24, August 19-21, September 9-11, and October 14-16) and will feature live music, movie screenings, outdoor games, local food trucks, and, of course, a wide selection of great Philly beer. Each month, the proceeds from the beer garden will benefit a local charity, with the Fishtown Neighbors Association as the first recipient.

The opening weekend will kick off on Friday, July 8 with “Music Under the El” from 5 PM - 10 PM, a screening of American Pie 2 at 8 PM on Saturday, July 9, and beer and outdoor games during the day on both that Saturday and Sunday, July 10. Be aware that the music and movie events are BYOC (bring your own chair).

Philly is always happy to play host to another beer garden, and at this one, you can get excited about Evil Genius’ new permanent brewery space arriving soon in Fishtown.
