Where to Celebrate Labor Day 2016 in Philly
Another summer seemingly flew by — lots of drinks were enjoyed and memories made, but the fun isn’t over yet! There’s one more weekend, and a special one at that, until pumpkin beers and crisp ciders are back on tap. It’s Labor Day Weekend here in Philadelphia, meaning it’s time to enjoy that grapefruit shandy and soak up the sun until the Eagles season comes around.

Grab your tickets for a one-night-only beer garden with full access to the museum of medical oddities. Tickets are free for members and $12 for non members. Beer and sangria will be served alongside light snacks.

Parks on Tap at FDR Park
Catch this traveling beer garden this weekend in South Philly! They’ll have great craft beer and food options, including 21st Amendment Hell or High Watermelon on draft and 6 different kinds of sliders. Stop by the park on Saturday or Sunday for a free music festival too!

Lace up your roller skates, because it’s the last weekend of the RiverRink Summerfest! As well as skating, you can imbibe at the Chickie’s & Pete’s Waterfront Crabshack, play some mini golf, and hang out at the lodge.

Eulogy’s 11th Annual Belgian Beer Weekend

Back for its 5th year, Jay Z’s music festival will be taking over the Benjamin Franklin Parkway this weekend. Headliners include Rihanna and Coldplay with other featured artists such as Jamie xx, DJ Khaled, Grimes, and many more. Two day passes are still on sale along with single day passes.

Didn’t get tickets to Made in America? Swing by Assembly Rooftop Lounge or SkyGarten for incredible views of the parkway - you may even hear a tune or two from up there.

144th Labor Day Volksfest
Visit Northeast Philly this weekend for the longest running German volksfest in the US. The Cannstatter will be hosting this huge party equipped with three full days of German beer and wine, traditional German food, crafts, amusement rides, music and more! Tickets are $6 for one day, $9 for two days, and $11 for all three.

PHS South Street Beer Garden Luau
Enjoy an end of summer Luau party all weekend at this popular beer garden. The garden, which is run by the Khyber Pass Pub, will be having a pig roast, live music and drink specials. Everything is pay as you go.

Labor Day Brunch at Aqimero, 11AM-3PM
Is there any better way to top off your weekend than with a bottomless brunch? This Monday, you can dine on a $65 three course meal that includes a sushi sampler, crab benedict, steak frites, seared scallops and more. Drink options include bottomless mango mimosas and bloody marias. Good news — if you can’t make it to brunch this weekend, this brunch menu is available every Saturday and Sunday.
