Celebrate Bourbon Heritage Month at the 3rd Annual Whiskey Bonanza at The Twisted Tail on Thursday, September 22. The whiskey festival will feature over 60 whiskeys, a southern pig roast, live music and more!

The event occurs from 7 PM – 10 PM and general admission tickets cost $60. Participants will be able to sample dozens of whiskeys from names like Calumet, Crown Royal, Collingwood, Kinsey, Knob Creek and Jim Beam. A VIP package is also available with a special VIP Hour from 6 PM – 7 PM. VIPs can expect to sample rare whiskeys not offered to the general admission crowd including a barrel aged version of Jefferson’s Ocean which is aged at sea.

Other highlights of the event include Chewy’s Food Truck serving up burgers and other tasty bites to attendees. There will also be a competition in which four bartenders will compete to see who can make the most original whiskey cocktail. Attendees will be able to sample and vote for their favorite.

“It’s great to have that collection of whiskeys in one place,” says George Reilly, owner of The Twisted Tail. “It’s not too often that people are able to have that comparison side by side.”

Throughout September, the southern-inspired restaurant will be hosting free whiskey tastings on Fridays at 6 PM. The restaurant also encourages whiskey lovers to sign up for free to their Bourbon Club which gives members discounts, special access to events, an engraved glass with their name held behind the bar, and 20% off throughout Bourbon Heritage Month.
