On Thursday, November 17 at 6 PM at City Tap House Logan Square, Philly Beer Week will hold its annual European Vacation fundraiser & raffle, wherein one lucky winner will win a beer-centric trip to Europe.
In January of 2017, the raffle winner will head to
Oostvleteren, Belgium with both the brewer of their choice and
Tom Peters of
Monk’s Cafe for a whirlwind beer tour and a chance to be a part of 2017’s PBW collaboration beer. This year, the winner will head to De Struise Brewers, who will aid in creating the new beer. Of course, the trip includes roundtrip airfare from Philadelphia to Belgium and two nights of accomodation.
The runner-up will win a Brew Day at Tröegs Independent Brewing in Hershey, PA, which includes a private tour of the brewery, chance to brew with Tim Mayhew, food and beer, and a $50 gift card, and third place will win two tickets to Opening Tap, the inaugural party for Philly Beer Week.
The winner will be chosen at the event, which will feature specialty beers on tap, but there are some rules. The winner must be 21 or older and be able to obtain or already have a valid passport by the time of the trip, but the winner does not need to be present in order to win. Buy your tickets online, choose your brewer, and head to City Tap House Logan to see if you’re the lucky winner.
