Don't Miss the 12th Year of Marc Vetri's Star-Studded Great Chefs Event, June 20

Marc Vetri’s Great Chefs event, which benefits Alex’s Lemonade Stand and the Vetri Community Partnership by bringing some of the country’s finest culinary minds together for one night only, will be back for its 12th year on Tuesday, June 20 from 6 PM - 9 PM at the Urban Outfitters HQ in the Navy Yard.

Over 40 chefs will be featured at this year’s event, and chefs new to this incredible opportunity include Hugh Acheson of 5 & 10 in Athens, GA, Frank Castronovo & Frank Falcinetti of Frankies Spuntino & Prime Meats in Brooklyn, Derek Dammann of Maison Publique in Montreal, Evan Funke of Felix in LA, Sara Jenkins of Nina June in Rockport, ME, and Ryan Poli of The Catbird Seat in Nashville. If you’ve attended the event in the past, many of your favorites will be returning as well, including Paul Kahan of Blackbird, avec, The Publican and Big Star in Chicago, Alex Guarnaschelli of Butter in NYC and The Food Network, and Duff Goldman of Charm City Cakes in Baltimore, Ace of Cakes, and Cake Masters.

Philly will find its chefs represented as well, with Greg Vernick of Vernick, Daniel Stern of R2L, and Kevin Sbraga cooking during the event and chef slash restauranteurs Jose Garces and Michael Solomonov heading up all the food at Great Chefs’ afterparty, which will be held at Lo Spiedo.

As for drinks, cocktails, beer and wine will be served by spirits professionals from across the US, including Joe Campanale (Annona), Summer Wolff (Indie Wineries, NYC), Stacey Swenson (Dante, NYC), Jesse Vida (BlackTail, NYC), Neal Bodenheimer (Cure), Bill Covaleski (Victory Brewing Company), Tom Kehoe (Yard’s Brewing Co.), Tom Peters (Monk’s Café, Russian River Brewing Company), and Carol Stoudt (Stoudt’s Brewing Company).

While you’re enjoying phenomenal food and delicious drinks, don’t forget about the auction portion of the evening, where guests can bid on one of a kind culinary experiences, private dinners with chefs from the event, concert tickets, and even more.

General admission tickets are $350 per person and include access to all the food and drink during the main event, but if you want to make your Great Chefs experience even more luxurious, spring for a VIP ticket for $525 and get access to the exclusive afterparty at Lo Spiedo. Tickets can be purchased here, so don’t miss out - get your tickets today to one of the best culinary events Philadelphia has to offer.
