Finally, A 10-Pound Moscow Mule Exists in New York City

by Ryan Hudak on Apr 25, 2017 in Culture

Dream Hotels in New York City is finally appealing to a cross-section of society that has been severely underrepresented lately: those who love Moscow Mules, and those who can’t drink their alcohol in normal-sized cups like an adult member of society. The Dream Downtown and Dream Midtown hotels will both be featuring a 164-oz Moscow Mule on their rooftop decks this summer, for a reasonable fee of $185.

The drink includes 18 ounces of Belvedere vodka—or Casamigos Blanca tequila if you really want to get the party started—and comes in one massive Moscow Mule copped mug, which is big enough to hide your face so no one can see your shame when you drink straight from the mug.  Even though you’ll probably do something super clever like pretend you’re a hobbit while you drink it.  Mug and all, the drink will weigh in at 10 pounds.

If you and your 8-10 bros can get through the Mega Mule, be sure to have plenty of towels on hand to mop up the ridiculous amount of condensation that will be all over you from the enormous copper mug.  And also to drape over your heads on the way out so no one can see your stupid face.  Even considering the math on the price of drinks may work out in your favor, no one needs a pitcher of cocktail. Order them properly like a grown-up and you’ll feel much better about yourself.
