Philadelphia’s traveling beer garden has returned, and for its second week it will be at the gazebo at FDR Park in South Philly. Sip on local drafts and frozen cocktails along with sandwiches and snacks all holiday weekend long. Hours are Wednesday and Thursday 5 PM-10 PM, Friday and Saturday 1 PM-11 PM, Sunday and Monday 12 PM-10 PM. (1500 Pattison Ave.)
Citizens Bank Park

Catch a ball game at Citizens Bank Park this holiday weekend. The Phillies are playing the Reds on Friday at 7:05 PM, if you buy a ticket to this game with offer code “bark,” you can even bring your pup to the game! Back for its third season, Summerfest debuts Friday of Memorial Day Weekend. Enjoy roller skating, mini-golf, lawn games, arcades, and food from Chickie’s and Pete’s Waterfront Crabshack. Head to the top of a parking garage in University City to soak in the sun and some great views of the city with a beer in hand. The Cira Green beer garden is only open on Fridays through June 23, so this is the perfect place to kick off your holiday weekend. (129 S 30th St.)
Chaddsford Winery

The unofficial start to the summer means a weekend-long music festival at this Philadelphia suburban winery. Each day will feature a different band and M & M Catering will be on site to provide the food. Best of all the event is free to enter. (632 Baltimore Pike)

Hall and Oates have curated and will be performing at this Memorial Day Weekend concert that will celebrate all things Philadelphia. Other acts include Tears for Fears, G. Love & Special Sauce, Vivian Green, Marah, Schooly D, and many more! VIP packages are available for $125 and $250 and include special stage access, commemorative items, private bars and more. Penn’s Landing

Visit the Delaware Waterfront for activities for the whole family. The one event you may find particularly enticing is the free-entry beer garden on the (docked) Spirit of Philadelphia from 2:30 PM-5:30 PM. The beer garden will feature a live DJ, a dance floor, rooftop games (including giant Jenga, shuffleboard, and foosball), free light bites, and a full cash bar with drink specials. Sunday, May 28, 10 PM-2 AM
Enjoy throwback jamz at this Sunday evening party. Two separate DJs will be spinning tunes from two eras with the downstairs bar featuring artists from the 90s like Spice Girls, Daft Punk, Destiny's Child and the like and upstairs with the best of the 2000s with jams from Jay-Z, Eminem, OutKast and more. $5 cover.
