Head to La Peg on Thursday, June 15 for Shadowboxin’, a boxed wine party with a soundtrack of Wu-Tang Clan tunes, in the Haas Biergarten from 5:30 PM - 10:30 PM.
The selection of boxed wines will run for $4 a glass, and of course, in keeping with the event’s name, DJ Dame Luz will accompany those wines with Wu-Tang’s music, including GZA’s Shadowboxin’. The wine lineup will include La Petite Frog Picpoul de Pinet from France; Big House Pinot Noir from California, René Barbier Mediterranean white blend from Spain; Vin Vault Chardonnay from California; Naked Grape Moscato from California; Folonari Pinot Grigio from Italy; Fisheye Shiraz from Australia; Vidorra Real red sangria from Spain; Hacienda rosé blend from California; and Bota Box Sauvignon Blanc from California.
La Peg’s GM, Brad Histand, said, “We take wine seriously, but we also like to have fun, and with so many great boxes now available, we thought this would be a great way to enjoy them,” says General Manager Brad Histand. “Take a couple of boxes, add in a killer DJ and a fun outdoor setting, and you’ve got a perfect summer Thursday.”
It’s free to attend, so make sure to stop by La Peg on Thursday and try some excellent boxed wines and listen to some Wu-Tang.
