Skylodge at Skygarten is Now Open for its Second Year

Philly's tallest winter lodge, Skylodge, will reopen for the season at Skygarten on Wednesday, November 1 with an opening kickoff party starting at 5 PM.

The lodge will bring back its famous spiked hot chocolate bar designed by head bartender Jesse Cornell, and this year, it'll feature even more accompaniments to this winter beverage, like Dr. McGillicuddy’s Mentholmint, different flavored Baileys Irish Cream liqueurs, Buffalo Trace Cream, Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey, peppermint schnapps, and more, alongside a candy bar that guests can use to top off their creation. Food from Chef Mark Brinton will include poutine fries ($12), bourbon buffalo wings ($8/$14), a BBQ pork sandwich ($9), a veggie burger ($10), Bavarian bratwurst ($9), and more. Guests will pay a $5 cover throughout the season, which includes complimentary hand warmers for the viewing deck.

If you want to celebrate the grand reopening, stop by on Wednesday, November 1 for the kickoff party featuring a live DJ and the release of Pennsylvania Tuxedo, a brand new session spruce-infused pale ale made with Dogfish Head

Skylodge will be open from 5 PM to 10 PM Wednesdays through Fridays and 5 PM to 11 PM on Saturdays for the rest of the season, so head over for the kickoff party or on any chilly winter afternoon to  to cozy up with some hot chocolate and enjoy the space’s amazing views.
