Celebrate the Season at Old City's Historic Holiday Happy Hour Nights
Old City District has announced a new tradition starting Thursday, November 30 with the first installment of Old City's Historic Holiday Nights. Each Thursday between now and December 28th from 5 PM-8 PM, over 50 of the historic neighborhood’s restaurants, shops and museums will offer special discounts, seasonal menu items and spirited events.
The promotional nights kick off Thursday at 5:30 PM with a performance by the Philadelphia Youth Ballet and tree lighting ceremony at the Betsy Ross House. The ceremony will have tasty treats from Fezziwig’s Sweet Shoppe and a cider sampling from Austin Eastciders for guests to enjoy.
Each Thursday at 5:30 PM there will also be a “Tippler’s Yuletide Tour” bar crawl led by a Red Coat soldier that takes participants to four local pubs to enjoy draft beers and snacks. The tours start at the Betsy Ross and tickets must be purchased in advance here for $50.

Buddakan: Half priced General Tso soup dumplings, half priced short rib & scallion pancakes and $5 Zengria
Cuba Libre: Happy hour menu extended until 8 PM
DiNardo’s: $5 white cranberry martini and $10 mussels
Jasmine Rice: $5 for all beer and wine, and half priced select appetizers
La Peg: $5 Original Sin Hard Cider, $6 Blackbird Hard Cirder, $24 brut selections, and $22 “Thanksgiving dinner” food special
Nick’s Bar & Grille: $5 raspberry Bellinis and discounted select appetizers
Spasso Italian Grill: $5 mixed drinks, $6 martinis, $6 Manhattan, $6 wines, $3 beer and $5 mussels
Victoria Freehouse: $5 mulled wine and half priced appetizers
