On Friday, February 2 at 9 PM, check out the grand opening of Concourse, a new concept from FCM Hospitality, the team behind Morgan's Pier.

Located on the lower level of 1635 Market Street, Concourse will be a dance bar whose name is a reference to its underground location, right underneath the original Concourse sign. With no dress code and a low, $5 cover, guests can feel relaxed and welcomed as they enter the retro dance bar, which will feature TVs playing music videos from the 80s, 90s, and today alongside a DJ playing throwback tunes mixed with songs from today.

The dance floor, lit with a hue lighting system, will comfortably fit 500 people, and two bars will serve reasonably priced drinks, but don't forget about the ball pit — this whimsical addition will fit 20-30 people, with illuminated lights on the bottom and clear balls.

If you want to host a private party in the space, you can rent out the mezzanine lounge outfitted with vintage furniture complete with food and drink packages. Note, however, that the bar does not offer food apart from food packages during private events.

After its grand opening, Concourse will be open on Fridays from 5 PM - 2 AM and Saturdays from 9 PM - 2 AM, with more hours on Thursdays and Sundays to come along with theme nights like old-school hip hop dance parties and more. Follow their updates on Facebook and Instagram
