Bars Offering Specials for the Eagles Super Bowl Victory Parade

by Jessie Donofrio on Feb 7, 2018 in Roundups

The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl champions! To celebrate, the city is throwing a parade to end all parades this Thursday, February 8 starting at 11 AM. The parade will start at Broad and Pattison in South Philly and continue North up Broad to City Hall where it will turn down the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and end at the Art Museum, where there will be special celebrations beginning tentatively at 1 PM.

If you plan on bar hopping your way Northwest, Philly Mag has reported that “There Will Be Free Bud Light at Pretty Much Every Bar On Parade Route,” and even if that’s not the case we've rounded up some bars along the way (and many that aren't) that are offering special deals to revelers.

Devil’s Den (1148 S 11th St.)
This bar, only a few blocks away from the parade route, is offering $4 Yards Philly Pale Ale drafts and $4 Weyerbacher Dallas Sucks cans all day.

Grace Tavern (2229 Grays Ferry Ave.)
Celebrate the Super Bowl Champs with $3 Kenzingers, $4 Newbold IPA, $5 Cuervo Marias, $5 Titos Bloody Marys, and $5 mimosas.

Landmark Americana (3333 Market St.)
Stop by this U City bar after the parade for their regular Thursday specials that include $2.50 Yuenglings all day and $3 well drinks and $5 Coors and Miller pitchers from 9 PM-12 AM.

McGillin's Olde Ale House  (1310 Drury St.)
Philly’s oldest bar will be open an hour early at 10 AM serving green beer and “Iggletinis” as well as their regular Thursday specials like $6.50 PBR pitches, $9 Bud Light, Coors Ligt and Yuengling Light pitchers, $2.99 margaritas and $2.99 nachos.

MilkBoy South Street (401 South St.)
Jim’s Steaks is closed for renovations, but fear not—MilkBoy will be open early on Thursday at 9 AM and will be serving up Jim’s famous steaks all day.

Moonshine Philly (1825 E Moyamensing Ave)
Not exactly a special, but this South Philly bar is going to open at 9 AM on parade day and is offering a free shuttle to Broad Street from 9 AM- 2 PM.

Paddy Whacks (150 South St.)
This South Street bar is opening at 7 AM as a special treat to fans. Come before 11 AM to snag a free pint of Bud Light.

Prohibition Taproom (501 N 13th St.)
Enjoy some $9 wings, $5 citywides, $4 pints of Yards PPA and $4 cans of Sterling Pig “The Snuffler” IPA at this 13th street gastropub.

Silence DoGood’s  (216 Market St.)
Or should I say EaglesDoGoods Tavern (they’ve changed their name until further notice) will be serving $3.50 Rolling Rock pounders, $4 Commonwealth Cider, $4 Lionshead pints and $5 “bleed green” shots.

The Twisted Tail (509 S 2nd St.)
For fans looking to keep it classy, this Headhouse bar is offering $5 Double Eagle (bourbon, aperol, lemon and basil) cocktails all day.

Victoria Freehouse (10 S Front St.)
Don’t feel like venturing all the way to Broad? Hang in Old City with $10 Carlsberg pitchers and $.50 wings.

Walnut Street Cafe (2929 Walnut St.)
Head to this bar before the parade from 7 AM-11 AM for $5 citywides, $5 mimosas, $5 Eagle-ritas and free drip coffee.
